Mozambique (X kg) was the main destination for poppy seed exports from Portugal, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, poppy seed exports to Mozambique exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Angola (X kg), threefold.

In value terms, poppy seed imports expanded rapidly to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a strong expansion.
