In value terms, grape exports stood at $X in 2018. Over the period under review, grape exports, however, continue to indicate prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2011 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, grape exports reached their maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2018, exports failed to regain their momentum.

Exports by Country

Spain (X tonnes) was the main destination for grape exports from Portugal, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, grape exports to Spain exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Poland (X tonnes), threefold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by the UK (X tonnes), with a X% share.
