These countries were followed by China, the U.S., France, Canada, Belgium, India, Germany, Egypt, Poland and Pakistan, which together accounted for a further X%.

In terms of the main exporting countries , China (+X% per year) recorded the highest growth rate of exports, over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Vegetable Export Prices by Country in Poland

In 2017, the vegetable export price in Poland amounted to $X per tonne, going down by -X% against the previous year. In general, vegetable export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016, when the export prices increased by X% y-o-y. Poland export price peaked of $X per tonne in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.

Export prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest export price was the U.S. ($X per tonne), while Pakistan ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

The total import volume increased an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2007 to 2017; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations over the period under review. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011, with an increase of X% year-to-year. In that year, the vegetable imports reached their peak volume of X tonnes. From 2012 to 2017, growth of the vegetable imports stood at a somewhat lower level.

In value terms, vegetable imports amounted to $X in 2017. Overall, the total imports indicated a strong expansion from 2007 to 2017: its value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2017 figures, the vegetable imports increased by +X% against 2015 indices. Poland imports peaked in 2017, and are expected to retain its growth in the immediate term.

Vegetable Imports by Country into Poland

In 2017, the U.S. (X tonnes), followed by Germany (X tonnes), Belgium (X tonnes), the Netherlands (X tonnes), the UK (X tonnes) and France (X tonnes) were the main importers of vegetables, together mixed up X% of total imports. Russia (X tonnes), Canada (X tonnes), Spain (X tonnes), Malaysia (X tonnes), Italy (X tonnes) and Saudi Arabia (X tonnes) held the mild share of total imports.

In value terms, the largest vegetable markets worldwide were the U.S. ($X), Germany ($X) and the UK ($X), together comprising X% of total imports. France, Canada, the Netherlands, Russia, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Malaysia, Poland and Saudi Arabia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.

In terms of the main importing countries , Saudi Arabia (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to imports, over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
