Exports from Poland
In 2022, overseas shipments of synthetic rubber (excluding latex) decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the second year in a row after nine years of growth. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, synthetic rubber (excluding latex) exports dropped to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X, and then reduced in the following year.
Exports by Country
India (X tons), Brazil (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main destinations of synthetic rubber (excluding latex) exports from Poland, with a combined X% share of total exports. France, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey, China, Hungary, Italy, Belgium and Slovenia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
