In value terms, railway sleeper exports reached $X in 2020. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2010 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, exports hit record highs at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The UK (X cubic meters), the Netherlands (X cubic meters) and Slovakia (X cubic meters) were the main destinations of railway sleeper exports from Poland, together accounting for X% of total exports.

Overall, imports continue to indicate a sharp slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2012 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X cubic meters in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, railway sleeper imports totaled $X in 2020. In general, imports faced a precipitous descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2012 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, imports remained at a lower figure.
