In 2021, overseas shipments of non-woven glass fibre webs, felts, mattresses and boards were finally on the rise to reach X tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year declining trend. In general, total exports indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports decreased by X% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X%. The exports peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-woven glass fibre articles exports rose modestly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a remarkable increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports decreased by X% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X%.
