Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the average mustard seed export price amounted to $X per tonne, increasing by X% against the previous year. Over the last nine years, it increased at an average annual rate of +X%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per tonne. From 2014 to 2021, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, after four years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of mustard seed, when their volume decreased by -X% to X tonnes. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tonnes in 2020, and then fell remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, mustard seed imports expanded sharply to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X% y-o-y. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Russia (X tonnes) constituted the largest supplier of mustard seed to Poland, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, mustard seed imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Kazakhstan (X tonnes), more than tenfold. Ukraine (X tonnes) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.
