Over the period under review, exports hit record highs at X tonnes in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, hormones, prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes exports skyrocketed to $X in 2020. In general, exports posted a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, exports attained the peak of $X. From 2009 to 2020, the growth exports failed to regain the momentum.

Exports by Country

Russia (X tonnes) was the main destination for hormones, prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes exports from Poland, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, hormones, prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes exports to Russia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Denmark (X kg), sixfold. The Czech Republic (X kg) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.
