In general, total exports indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +3.3% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Germany (X units), France (X units) and Sweden (X units) were the main destinations of electrical transformer exports from Poland, together accounting for 57% of total exports. Hungary, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Ukraine, Romania and Austria lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 24%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Belgium (with a CAGR of +107.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for electrical transformer exported from Poland were Germany ($X), Belgium ($X) and France ($X), with a combined 39% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the UK, the Netherlands, Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Romania, which together accounted for a further 26%.
In terms of the main countries of destination, the Netherlands, with a CAGR of +30.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average electrical transformer export price amounted to $X per unit, which is down by -86.5% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a significant curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 78%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2017 to 2021, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to the Czech Republic ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (-15.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Electrical transformer imports into Poland rose remarkably to X units in 2021, picking up by 6.8% against 2020 figures. In general, total imports indicated measured growth from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.8% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 58%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, the largest electrical transformer suppliers to Poland were Germany ($X), China ($X) and the Czech Republic ($X), with a combined 45% share of total imports. France, South Korea, Denmark, the Netherlands, Croatia and Sweden lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 17%.

In 2021, the average electrical transformer import price amounted to $X per unit, rising by 91% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($X per unit), while the price for Sweden ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by South Korea (+75.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
