Over the period under review, export price indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +6.7% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 20%. The export price peaked in 2021 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Austria ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Toy imports into Poland rose slightly to X tons in 2021, growing by 4.5% compared with 2020. Overall, imports posted a buoyant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 28%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.
