Exports from the Philippines
In 2022, overseas shipments of non-wheat flours decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. In general, exports, however, recorded a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-wheat flour exports dropped significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The United Arab Emirates (X tons) was the main destination for non-wheat flour exports from the Philippines, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, non-wheat flour exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Canada (X tons), twofold.
