From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Brunei Darussalam totaled +27.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Taiwan (Chinese) (+14.9% per year) and Micronesia (+25.6% per year).

In 2021, the average marble granules and powder export price amounted to $X per ton, picking up by 2% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a mild downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 56% against the previous year. In 2021, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of granules, chippings and powder of marble, when their volume decreased by -44.2% to X tons. In general, imports, however, posted a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 930%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2020, and then declined significantly in the following year.

Among the main suppliers, Turkey, with a CAGR of +35.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average marble granules and powder import price amounted to $X per ton, reducing by -1.5% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a pronounced curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 24%. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while the price for France ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
