In 2020, the camel meat export price in the Philippines amounted to $X per tonne, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin; the country with the highest price was Australia ($X per tonne), while the United Arab Emirates ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Australia, while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Morocco was the key importing country with an import of about X tonnes, which recorded X% of total imports. Oman (X tonnes) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by the U.S. (X tonnes). All these countries together occupied near X% share of total imports. Bahrain (X tonnes), Canada (X tonnes) and Egypt (X tonnes) took a minor share of total imports.

From 2007 to 2020, average annual rates of growth with regard to camel meat imports into Morocco stood at -X%. At the same time, Oman (+X%), Bahrain (+X%), Canada (+X%) and the U.S. (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Oman emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2020. Egypt experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. While the share of Oman (+X p.p.), the U.S. (+X p.p.), Bahrain (+X p.p.), Canada (+X p.p.) and Egypt (+X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global imports from 2007-2020, the share of Morocco (-X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In value terms, Morocco ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported camel meat into the Philippines, comprising X% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Oman ($X), with a X% share of global imports. It was followed by the U.S., with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Morocco amounted to -X%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Oman (+X% per year) and the U.S. (-X% per year).

The camel meat import price in the Philippines stood at $X per tonne in 2020, remaining constant against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern.
