From 2007 to 2018, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Australia stood at -X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Japan (-X% per year) and South Korea (+X% per year).

Export Prices by Country

In 2018, the average asparagus export price amounted to $X per tonne, approximately equating the previous year. Overall, the asparagus export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2009 when the average export price increased by X% y-o-y. The export price peaked at $X per tonne in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2018, export prices remained at a lower figure.
