For the fifth consecutive year, Pakistan recorded decline in overseas purchases of shampoos, which decreased by -X% to X tonnes in 2020. Over the period under review, imports showed a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tonnes in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2020, imports failed to regain the momentum.

In value terms, shampoo imports contracted sharply to $X in 2020. In general, imports continue to indicate a abrupt curtailment.
