T-Shirt Market Size in Norway

Over the period under review, t-shirt imports reached their maximum at X tonnes in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, t-shirt imports amounted to $X in 2018. Overall, t-shirt imports continue to indicate an abrupt downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, t-shirt imports attained their maximum at $X in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

Bangladesh (X tonnes), China (X tonnes) and Viet Nam (X tonnes) were the main suppliers of t-shirt imports to Norway, together comprising X% of total imports. These countries were followed by Cambodia, Lithuania, Germany, Sri Lanka, India, Turkey and Estonia, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Sri Lanka (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin; the country with the highest price was Estonia ($X per tonne), while the price for Viet Nam ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
