Exports from Norway

Milled rice imports into Norway totaled X tonnes in 2018, waning by -X% against the previous year. In general, the total imports indicated a tangible expansion from 2007 to 2018: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last eleven-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2018 figures, milled rice imports decreased by -X% against 2015 indices. In 2018, Thailand (X tonnes) constituted the largest supplier of milled rice to Norway, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, milled rice imports from Thailand exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X tonnes), fivefold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by India (X tonnes), with a X% share.
