Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tonnes in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, recovered fibre pulp imports shrank remarkably to $X in 2020. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2020, Germany (X tonnes) constituted the largest recovered fibre pulp supplier to Norway, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, recovered fibre pulp imports from Germany exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Sweden (X tonnes), fourfold.
