The United States was also the fastest-growing in terms of the watch straps, bands and bracelets exports, with a CAGR of +11.9% from 2012 to 2021. Canada (-1.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of the United States increased by +11 percentage points.
In value terms, the United States ($X) remains the largest bracelet supplier in Northern America, comprising 94% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Canada ($X), with a 6.3% share of total exports.

Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, bracelet imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed resilient growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 83%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
