In 2021, overseas shipments of single loudspeakers (in enclosure) were finally on the rise to reach X units after six years of decline. Overall, exports, however, recorded a slight reduction. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.4% over the period from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 24% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, loudspeaker imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +5.2% from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 40% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
