The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 26%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

The United States represented the key importing country with an import of around X tons, which accounted for 86% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Canada (X tons), making up a 14% share of total imports.
