In 2021, supplies from abroad of chalk and dolomite increased by 66% to X tons, rising for the fourth year in a row after two years of decline. Overall, imports posted a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 437% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.
