In general, exports saw a deep contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by X%. The exports peaked at X litres in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, exports of spirits, liqueurs and other spirituous beverages declined sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X, and then fell dramatically in the following year.

Canada (X litres), the United States (X litres) and Fiji (X litres) were the main destinations of exports of spirits, liqueurs and other spirituous beverages from New Zealand, with a combined X% share of total exports.
