Over the period under review, exports hit record highs at X tonnes in 2010; however, from 2011 to 2020, exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, refined palm oil exports contracted slightly to $X in 2020. Overall, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008 with an increase of X% year-to-year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2010; however, from 2011 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2020, Oman (X tonnes) represented the largest exporter of refined palm oil, achieving X% of total exports. The United Arab Emirates (X tonnes) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Saudi Arabia (X%). Turkey (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.
