Over the period under review, pig fat exports attained their peak figure at $X in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Turkey represented the key exporter of pig fat in the Middle East, with the volume of exports accounting for X tonnes, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2018. Saudi Arabia (X tonnes) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Kuwait (X%).
