Exports in the Middle East
After two years of decline, overseas shipments of medicaments containing insulin but not antibiotics increased by X% to X tons in 2023. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2023, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, medicaments containing insulin exports soared to $X in 2023. In general, exports, however, showed a deep reduction. Jordan was also the fastest-growing in terms of the medicaments containing insulin but not antibiotics exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023.
