Exports of Household and Sanitary Articles of Paper

Exports in the Middle East

After two years of decline, overseas shipments of household and sanitary articles of paper increased by X% to X tons in 2023. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2023, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, exports of household and sanitary articles of paper rose sharply to $X in 2023. Overall, exports, however, showed a pronounced decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2023, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In 2023, Turkey (X tons) represented the largest exporter of household and sanitary articles of paper, achieving X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by the United Arab Emirates (X tons), Saudi Arabia (X tons), Jordan (X tons) and Bahrain (X tons), together creating a X% share of total exports. Palestine (X tons) held a little share of total exports.

Turkey was also the fastest-growing in terms of the household and sanitary articles of paper exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023.
