Fresh Whole Chicken Market Size in the Middle East

The Middle Eastern fresh whole chicken market expanded slightly to $X in 2019, with an increase of X% against the previous year. In value terms, fresh whole chicken imports skyrocketed to $X in 2019. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a strong expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2011 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2019, imports failed to regain the momentum.

In 2019, Bahrain (X tonnes) was the major importer of fresh or chilled whole chickens, generating X% of total imports. The United Arab Emirates (X tonnes) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Kuwait (X%), Yemen (X%) and Iraq (X%).
