Exports in the Middle East

For the seventh consecutive year, the Middle East recorded growth in shipments abroad of dextrins and other modified starches, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, modified starches exports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a resilient expansion. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, Turkey (X tons) represented the largest exporter of dextrins and other modified starches, generating X% of total exports. The United Arab Emirates (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Saudi Arabia (X tons). All these countries together took near X% share of total exports.
