Exports in the Middle East

In 2022, shipments abroad of camel meat decreased by X% to X tons for the first time since 2014, thus ending a seven-year rising trend. In general, exports, however, recorded a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2021, and then contracted significantly in the following year.

In value terms, camel meat exports fell remarkably to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2021, and then shrank notably in the following year.
