In 2023, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of balloons, dirigibles and other non-powered aircraft, when their volume decreased by X% to X units. In general, exports faced a abrupt setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2022 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units, and then dropped markedly in the following year.
In value terms, balloon and dirigible exports fell markedly to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2021 to 2023, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
In 2023, Israel (X units) was the key exporter of balloons, dirigibles and other non-powered aircraft, creating X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Turkey (X units), making up a X% share of total exports. The following exporters - Kuwait (X units) and the United Arab Emirates (X units) - each amounted to a X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to balloon and dirigible exports from Israel stood at X%.
