Exports in the Middle East
In 2023, the amount of airplanes and other aircraft exported in the Middle East fell dramatically to X units, which is down by X% on 2022 figures. Overall, exports saw a deep setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X units. From 2016 to 2023, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, aircraft exports fell rapidly to $X in 2023. In general, exports faced a abrupt setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2021; however, from 2022 to 2023, the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
Israel represented the largest exporting country with an export of about X units, which recorded X% of total exports. The United Arab Emirates (X units) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Turkey (X%) and Saudi Arabia (X%).
From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to aircraft exports from Israel stood at X%. At the same time, Turkey (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Turkey emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the Middle East, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. The United Arab Emirates experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Imports in the Middle East
Aircraft imports skyrocketed to X units in 2023, rising by X% on the previous year's figure. Overall, imports recorded resilient growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2021; however, from 2022 to 2023, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
