From 2007 to 2017, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to the U.S. stood at -X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Canada (+X% per year) and Cuba (+X% per year).

Sawnwood Export Prices by Country in Mexico

The average sawnwood export price stood at $X per cubic meter in 2017, picking up by X% against the previous year. In general, sawnwood export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015, when it surged by X% year-to-year. In that year, the average export prices for sawnwood attained their peak level of $X per cubic meter. From 2016 to 2017, growth of the average export prices for sawnwood failed to regain its momentum.

There were significant differences in the average export prices for the major foreign markets. In 2017, the country with the highest export price was China, Hong Kong SAR ($X per cubic meter), while average price for exports to Canada ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export prices was recorded for supplies to Cuba (+X% per year), the export prices for other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Sawnwood Imports into Mexico

In 2017, the amount of sawnwood imported into Mexico amounted to X cubic meters, reducing by -X% against the previous year. In general, sawnwood imports continue to indicate an abrupt descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2010, when it surged by X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, the sawnwood imports attained its maximum volume of X cubic meters in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.

In value terms, sawnwood imports stood at $X in 2017. Overall, sawnwood imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The imports peaked of $X in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was Germany ($X per cubic meter), while prices for sawnwood imports from Peru ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of import prices was attained by Chile (+X% per year), the import prices for other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
