Among the main exporting countries, Morocco, with a CAGR of X%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in MENA stood at $X per ton in 2022, picking up by X% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then dropped rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, aircraft propeller imports dropped dramatically to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a significant increase.
