The United Arab Emirates (X units) and Turkey (X units) represented roughly 71% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Israel (X units) and Saudi Arabia (X units), together comprising a 20% share of total exports. Iran (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the leading exporting countries, was attained by Saudi Arabia (with a CAGR of +50.0%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest snow motor vehicle supplying countries in MENA were the United Arab Emirates ($X), Turkey ($X) and Saudi Arabia ($X), with a combined 85% share of total exports.
Saudi Arabia, with a CAGR of +52.6%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in MENA stood at $X per unit in 2021, increasing by 26% against the previous year. In general, the export price enjoyed a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 104%. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the peak figure in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($X per unit), while Iran ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+7.9%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2021, snow motor vehicle imports in MENA skyrocketed to X units, increasing by 45% compared with 2020. In general, imports showed a temperate increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 114% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

The United Arab Emirates was the largest importing country with an import of around X units, which recorded 50% of total imports. Israel (X units) took a 15% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Saudi Arabia (6.8%), Egypt (6%), Iraq (5.5%) and Kuwait (5.2%). Morocco (X units) took a little share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to snow motor vehicle imports into the United Arab Emirates stood at +1.4%. At the same time, Egypt (+23.8%), Iraq (+16.6%), Morocco (+14.1%), Israel (+7.5%), Kuwait (+3.9%) and Saudi Arabia (+2.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the import price in MENA amounted to $X per unit, surging by 36% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a pronounced expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 110%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the peak figure in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
