Exports in MENA

In 2023, the amount of granules, chippings and powder of marble exported in MENA rose to X tons, increasing by X% compared with 2022. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a drastic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2023, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In 2023, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of granules, chippings and powder of marble, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. Overall, imports showed a abrupt setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, marble granules and powder imports declined remarkably to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a noticeable slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year.
