Exports from Malaysia

Sandstone exports from Malaysia shrank to X tons in 2022, falling by -6.7% compared with 2021. Overall, exports recorded a pronounced slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 104% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, sandstone exports dropped slightly to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, enjoyed a strong increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 95%. The exports peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
