The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by 30% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2020, and then shrank in the following year.
In value terms, soap in bars imports declined significantly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, showed measured growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 55% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, Belgium (X tons) constituted the largest soap in bars supplier to Luxembourg, accounting for a 43% share of total imports.
