The countries with the highest levels of glass exports in 2018 were Saudi Arabia (X square meters), Japan (X square meters) and China (X square meters), together resulting at X% of total export. The U.S. (X square meters) held a X% share (based on tons) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by China, Hong Kong SAR (X%). The following exporters - Iran (X square meters) and South Korea (X square meters) - each resulted at a X% share of total exports.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by South Korea, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Japan ($X) remains the largest glass supplier from Lithuania, comprising X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by the U.S. ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by China, Hong Kong SAR, with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2018, the average annual growth rate of value in Japan totaled +X%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the U.S. (+X% per year) and China, Hong Kong SAR (+X% per year).

Taiwan, Chinese (X square meters) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Mongolia (X%), Qatar (X%) and Brazil (X%). Armenia (X square meters), China, Hong Kong SAR (X square meters), India (X square meters), Thailand (X square meters), Spain (X square meters) and the U.S. (X square meters) followed a long way behind the leaders.

The glass import price in Lithuania stood at $X per square meter in 2018, shrinking by -X% against the previous year. Overall, the glass import price continues to indicate a pronounced descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2012 when the import price increased by X% y-o-y. Lithuania import price peaked at $X per square meter in 2010; however, from 2011 to 2018, import prices remained at a lower figure.
