Exports in Latin America and the Caribbean

In 2022, shipments abroad of slag wool, rock wool and similar mineral wools and mixtures was finally on the rise to reach X tons after three years of decline. Overall, exports, however, showed a pronounced reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, mineral wool exports surged to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, showed a pronounced reduction.
