Exports in Latin America and the Caribbean

For the fourth consecutive year, LatAmerica and the Caribbean recorded decline in shipments abroad of safflower seed, which decreased by X% to X kg in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a precipitous descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, safflower seed exports shrank significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate a dramatic contraction.
