Over the period under review, exports hit record highs at $X in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2019, exports failed to regain the momentum.

Peru (X tonnes) represented roughly X% of total exports of preserved asparagus in 2019.

Peru was also the fastest-growing in terms of the preserved asparagus exports, with a CAGR of -X% from 2007 to 2019. The shares of the largest exporters remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
