From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Mexico (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2017, the country with the highest export price was Brazil ($X per kg), while Costa Rica ($X per kg) was amongst the lowest.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2017 figures, the pesticide imports increased by +X% against 2007 indices. Ecuador (X tonnes), Peru (X tonnes), Uruguay (X tonnes), Guatemala (X tonnes) and Costa Rica (X tonnes) held the slight share of total imports.

From 2007 to 2017, average annual rates of growth with regard to pesticide imports into Brazil stood at +X%. At the same time, Peru (+X%), Mexico (+X%), Guatemala (+X%), Bolivia (+X%), Ecuador (+X%), Argentina (+X%), Colombia (+X%), Chile (+X%), Paraguay (+X%), Uruguay (+X%) and Costa Rica (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Peru emerged as the fastest growing importer in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2017.
