Exports in Latin America and the Caribbean

After three years of growth, overseas shipments of multimeters decreased by X% to X units in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate a perceptible decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, multimeter exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The level of export peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Guatemala was the key exporting country with an export of around X units, which recorded X% of total exports. Mexico (X units) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Barbados (X%). Paraguay (X units) and Brazil (X units) held a little share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to multimeter exports from Guatemala stood at X%.
