Agricultural Harvester Exports

Exports in Latin America and the Caribbean

In 2023, overseas shipments of agricultural harvesters decreased by X% to X units for the first time since 2020, thus ending a two-year rising trend. In general, exports saw a deep contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2023, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, agricultural harvester exports stood at $X in 2023. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a mild setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2023, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

Brazil dominates exports structure, recording X units, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2023. It was distantly followed by Argentina (X units), making up a X% share of total exports.

Brazil was also the fastest-growing in terms of the agricultural harvesters exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023. Argentina (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Brazil (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Argentina saw its share reduced by X% from 2012 to 2023, respectively.

In general, imports, however, saw a perceptible slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2023, imports failed to regain momentum.
