Exports in Latin America and the Caribbean

In 2022, shipments abroad of gloves, mittens and mitts (excluding knitted or crocheted) was finally on the rise to reach X pairs after three years of decline. Overall, exports, however, faced a abrupt slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X pairs in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, gloves exports contracted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a deep downturn.
