Mexico dominates exports structure, reaching X units, which was near 81% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Panama (X units), committing a 5.3% share of total exports. Chile (X units), Brazil (X units), Colombia (X units) and Costa Rica (X units) took a relatively small share of total exports.
Exports from Mexico increased at an average annual rate of +12.7% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Costa Rica (+47.1%), Chile (+34.3%), Colombia (+28.1%) and Brazil (+15.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. In value terms, Mexico ($X) remains the largest electro-thermic appliances or domestic purposes supplier in Latin America and the Caribbean, comprising 85% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Panama ($X), with a 4.6% share of total exports. It was followed by Chile, with a 3.8% share.
In Mexico, electro-thermic appliances or domestic purposes exports expanded at an average annual rate of +8.7% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Panama (-4.7% per year) and Chile (+38.2% per year).
