Exports in Latin America and the Caribbean

In 2022, overseas shipments of canary seed increased by X% to X tons, rising for the third year in a row after three years of decline. Overall, exports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, canary seed exports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced reduction.
