The Kuwaiti loudspeaker market was finally on the rise to reach $X in 2021, after two years of decline. Overall, consumption enjoyed resilient growth. Over the period under review, the market hit record highs at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, consumption stood at a somewhat lower figure.

For the third consecutive year, Kuwait recorded decline in overseas shipments of single loudspeakers (in enclosure), which decreased by -10.1% to X units in 2021. Overall, exports, however, saw a strong expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by 774% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, loudspeaker exports contracted sharply to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, showed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by 605% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

The United Arab Emirates (X units), Saudi Arabia (X units) and Jordan (X units) were the main destinations of loudspeaker exports from Kuwait, together comprising 64% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the United Arab Emirates (with a CAGR of +62.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in supplies from abroad of single loudspeakers (in enclosure), when their volume increased by 47% to X units. In general, imports enjoyed a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 152% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, loudspeaker imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports posted a strong expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 73%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
