Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, medical instruments exports stood at $X in 2022. In general, exports saw a dramatic descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when exports increased by 257% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Senegal (X kg) was the main destination for medical instruments exports from Kuwait, with a 47% share of total exports. Moreover, medical instruments exports to Senegal exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Nigeria (X kg), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by the Netherlands (X kg), with a 6.4% share.

The average medical instruments export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, almost unchanged from the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 82%. The export price peaked in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
